INFLUENCES:
My original singing influences were Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) and Ed Kowalczyk (Live). Rob Thomas (Matchbox 20) is my hometown hero. Newer influences have included Breaking Benjamin, Hoobastank and Smile Empty soul.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN PLAYING MUSIC:
I’ve been playing music since my 4th grade guitar lessons. I traded up to singing about 15 years ago.
WHERE ARE YOU FROM:
Originally Ft. Myers, Fl. Orlando has been my home for 17 years.
OTHER INSTRUMENTS YOU PLAY:
Guitar
GEAR:
I only truly enjoy being wireless. I enjoy using Shure products. I typically sing through a Shure Beta 57-A. They seem seem to have the clearest sound!
WHO IS THE BAND YOU’D LOVE TO OPEN FOR:
The Rolling Stones… They aren’t my favorite band, but if I was opening up for them, I know I’ve REALLY made it!
HOBBIES:
Golfing, Boating, Wakeboarding, my family, writing songs, playing guitar and martial arts training (specifically Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). I’m also a HUGE Miami Dolphins fan.
WHY DID YOU START PLAYING/WRITING MUSIC:
As a kid, I was always drawn to music. My cousins and I used to perform for all of the family members at Holiday gatherings. I later did it because girls always love the singer.
WHEN/WHERE WAS YOUR FIRST TIME ON STAGE:
Technically in 5th grade at a “Christmas Recital” playing guitar, but my first real performance was my 9th grade talent show with a band called “Noyze.” I am so lucky to have performed at nearly every phase of my life!
MUSICAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS SO FAR:
Opening for Starship, Tabitha’s Secret (who became Matchbox 20) and national act White Trash… the amazing years touring with Jaded Faith and all of the shows on the Hard Rock Live and House of Blues stages.
MUSICAL GOALS:
To always have the passion and ability for writing great original material, to have a song in the Billboard 100 and to commercially sell my music.
FAVORITE CARTOON CHARACTER:
Roadrunner- He always won, and nothing ever fazed him.
